View Full Version : OK in safari, FF for mac, IE -- why not FF for windows?!

after some invaluable advice from folks on this forum, i have created a template for my site that is w3c compliant & doesn't use any icky tables or deprecated tags. it looks great in safari, FF for mac, and IE:

(pls ignore the rest of the site, i'm going to be remaking it to match this page.)

the problem: the title div looks funky in FF on a windows pc. the bottom border gets pushed down 5 or so pixels, so it doesn't line up with the dotted line directly to its left, which usually lines up perfectly. i know it's minor but it just seems like there must be an easy solution that i'm not seeing.

i already have an if statement in there which directs to a diff. stylesheet for IE... but i can't do that for FF. any suggestions on how to make sure that dotted line correctly lines up in FF on windows?

thank you!!!

Have try by changing your CSS like

#logo {
width: 218px;
font-family: "Trebuchet MS",Trebuchet,Arial,Verdana,Sans-serif;
position: fixed;
top: 11px;
left: 11px;
border-bottom:1px dotted white;
#logo img{
#main-navigation {
/*border-top: 1px dotted white;*/
font-family: "Trebuchet MS",Trebuchet,Arial,Verdana,Sans-serif;
