View Full Version : Which is better

Hey everyone,

I am doing my project which I have to give up later this year. I have a couple of ideas, and I have to choose one. I would really appreciate you help.

I want to do one with an online ticket reservation system for a cinema or create a website for renting dvd movies.

I am familiar with all the languages I would need like PHP, CSS, Javascript.

On the face of it, they seem simple to do, but I know they would both turn out to be a lot of work, which I'm prepared for.

I would like to know based on your experiences, which one would be the less nerve wrecking to do.

Thanks a lot for your help.

That depends entirely on what you want to do with each system, how much data you're going to be dealing with and so on.

They're both just inputting data and storing it in a database and then displaying it again, so in terms of easiness they would both be much the same. And since you don't have to deal with anything like user posted content, they're both fairly easy in the grand scheme of things, particularly if you're familiar with PHP & MySQL.

PS. I don't think this is the correct board for such posts...
