View Full Version : Crazy SSI Issue

Okay the webpage is a work in progress so be nice, and I am roughing out some things that were included with it already, but the issue I am having is nuts.

The page was set up as iframes, which well sucked. So I changed my menu to SSI. The SSI part is working fine and the menu shows up fine. My issue is that when you pull up the first page say www.sewdragondesigns.com/index3.html and click on a choice in the menu say the "angels" another browser window opens. Once that new window is open, everything else opens in that 2nd window. If you link directly to another page such as www.sewdragondesigns.com/pinup.html it will once again do the same thing. The first click into the menu section will pop up another browser window, and within that second window ever link opens in that window constantly.

I know I am missing something simple...there isnt a _blank tag in the menu.html document...so...anyway I am at a loss. This is my first time using SSI. I think I have just looked at it so long that I cant see the forrest thru the trees

PS this same thing happens in both IE and Mozilla

looks like your need to remove the Target='' from those links, that will stop them from opening in a new window.
