Hey, I have a problem with placement on my new layout. In FF it looks just fine, but stupid IE has to cause trouble!

Here are the files.

http://www.j-sparks.org/images/purple/index.php
http://www.j-sparks.org/images/purple/footer.php
http://www.j-sparks.org/images/purple/style.css

Help, PLEASE!

Hello Veton,
This will center them -

#network {
background: #545454 url();
font-family:Arial;
font-size:7pt;
color: #857f82;
width: 660px;
margin: 0 auto;
}

#box {
background: url(down.jpg) repeat-y;
margin: 0 auto;
width:737px; /*change to width:660px; to match #network*/
text-align: justify;
}

That didn't work. Anyone else? "/

You've got something else going on there. Two body tags, loading style.css twice... the validator finds it all.

Yeah, but that has absolutely nothing to do with my problem.. lol.

Well, something in your code is giving you grief.
If you have

a Doctype
a width for a div
margin: 0 auto; set on that div
Then it's centered.

If it's not working for you then you really should try and fix some of your invalid html and your invalid css.

I fixed everything but the ELITE AFFLIATES section is giving me a hard time in IE. Anyone?

The problem he is having is with the "elite affiliates", "welcome" and "gallery" section that is placed over the header image. How can he position them to make it work in IE and FF?

Edit
I just solved the problem for him so you can close this topic.
