View Full Version : Javascript to print variables if file upload left empty

I have a pretty basic form that users enter 2 numeric fields in plus a browse button/image upload field.

When filled in it opens a frame application with the image showing to the proportions of the sizes entered - this all works fine.

If the file upload field is left blank the application opens with a blank space where the image would be.

What I would like instead of the blank white space is the size variables to be used to create the image, i.e. if user enters 20 and 16 in the two size fields and leaves the file upload box blank the application opens and where the image should be 20" X 16" is printed.

any pointers as to where I should begin??

So you're saying whatever dimensions they enter it will search their computer for an image with those dimensions?
