Whilst designing my site as a hobby I have noticed that part of my content drops down below the rest of the content. The problem is aparent in Firefox, but not in IE7 or IE6. I havent tried any other browsers.

I have given the mis-behaving div with the heading heading "THIS DIV IS DROPPING DOWN IN FIREFOX" and it is at the bottom of the page.

I cant work how to resolve the issue, but I know that the 'rightcontent' div seems to be causing it, as when I add more content to the 'rightcontent' div it pushed the other div down to the bottom.

Hi there,

In firebug, I changed this, before your div that is having issues:

<br style="clear:both;" />
to:

<br style="clear:left;" />
Which seems to put the box where you like in FF 3. Havent tested this extensively.

Best Regards,

Drew

Thankyou, that does indeed seem to have fixed it, Ive only tried it in IE7, Firefox 3.03, IETester (ie6.0, 5.5, 8beta) and these all seem fine. I will get screen shots from Browsershots in a moment.

I am still having trouble with this div, now it is misbehaving in IE7, FF displays fine however. I just cannot seem to get both browsers to work with it. I added clear:left to make FF display ok, but IE7 doesnt like it. :confused:
