HI,

I am having trouble making the right side nav div, run to the same height as the other three divs. It seems to definately have something to do with the 'position:absolute' in the css file at '/CSS/nearby_dropdown_menu.css'

equal_columns.js works fine. its just the css is wrong and when I remove postion:absolute, the height becomes correct but the flyout menu breaks.

Any tips will be very much appreciated.

link removed.

Yeh I fixed the link. :o

I'll check out that link you gave and see if it helps. (Yeh I thought I had read that before). It doesn't work with a fluid layout. :(

I shall continue to work on this because it shouldk be easily fixable - I just can't see how yet.
It works on all other pages I use it on.

Thanks abduraooft but that isn't what I am looking for.

The javascript code works with all data except the unordered list. in fact, it does work with the undordered list until I use the css attribute, position:absolute. then the div stops immediately beneath the </ul>

I need help to understand why that is and how I can fix it. I don't want faux columns because this will be a fluid layout.

try that. fluid faux columns. now the top and bottom border of the center area is going to be tricky. But, maybe this will give some ideas to a non .js solution.

Thank you Harbinger. That looks promising.

I'll let you know how I get on.
