What is it that I'm doing wrong?

The link itself works fine when I use it to link to another page. But I can not get the link to function with the javascript command. When I click the link it says that there is an error. The javascript works fine alone.

So what is it that I have done wrong? :D

Ok when I try to do what you do I get the error

chng is not defined.

so your problem is with chng what is it that you are trying to get chng to do as there is no function chng() in your script
