View Full Version : Using a Form to create a page or a list of outputs?

Bit of a PHP virgin, so this may be too far out of my range of skills (Which really only involve breathing and sleeping).

I need to create a form that once complete, can send the data to a page that can be viewed and automatically updates as new data is sent.

It's for a daily events list. This events list will have several items, all of which would carry a serial number such as 1123, 1124, etcetc. These may have to be edited once up on the page.

So you'd enter in the days events, hit submit, and it'd either go to an individual page, with all the data displayed, nicely formatted, etc, or it'd turn out in the format of say, a news program like Cutenews.

Cutenews is in fact ideal, if I could simply have more fields to fill in. If anyone's ever used it, it'd explain perfectly what I was after.

Uhm. That generally sums it up I think. As I say, I'm confusing myself more and more.

Any help would really be appreciated!

just go get joomla or a comparable cms. the learning curve is easier and you won't spend weeks reinventing the wheel.
