Hi All-

I'm a newbe here! There is a lot of info on this site, more than I can handel. I looked to see if anyone else was having simular problems, but was unable to find any.

I recently downloaded the Cut & Paste Dolphin Tabs Menu. Looks real nice on our site. But I have been experancing some problems. The problems ars as follows:

The tabs for the menu bar shows up on only 3 pages, all other pages I get a horizontal menu bar without the tabs.

I am hoping there is a quick fix for the problem.

The files are in the root section:

I have used the following comands in the head section of every page:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css" />

<script type="text/javascript" src="dolphin.js">

* Dolphin Tabs Menu- by JavaScript Kit (www.javascriptkit.com)
* Menu interface by: http://www.13styles.com/css-menus/dolphin/
* Visit JavaScript Kit at http://www.javascriptkit.com/ for this script and 100s more

This is what I placed in the <body> section (with modified URL's):

<div id="dolphincontainer">
<div id="dolphinnav">
<li><a href="http://www.javascriptkit.com"><span>Home</span></a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.javascriptkit.com" rel="joey"><span>Joey</span></a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.javascriptkit.com" rel="suzy"><span>Suzy</span></a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.javascriptkit.com" rel="george"><span >George</span></a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.javascriptkit.com"><span>Contact Us</span></a></li>

<!-- Sub Menus container. Do not remove -->
<div id="dolphin_inner">

<div id="joey" class="innercontent">
Joey's statue of a white dog was originally given to Jennifer Aniston as a good luck present from her best friend.

<div id="suzy" class="innercontent">
During this period, then-locally famous Suzy Waud anchored evening broadcasting.

<div id="george" class="innercontent">
George Louis Costanza is a fictional character on the United States based television sitcom Seinfeld (1989–1998).

<!-- End Sub Menus container -->

<script type="text/javascript">

dolphintabs.init("dolphinnav", 1)

I have the above script placed in a table.

I sure hope someone can help me fix the "missing tabs" problem I'm having.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Rangana,

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Here is a link to the site:

Menu tabs are working on the following pages "only":

Submit Free Listing

We have over 100 pages with the menu installed. The menu was installed the same way on each and every page nothing was changed.

Thank you for your help,

You had made typos in the page that does'nt work:

Take for instance About.html

<a href="http://www.picodirectory.com/get-listed-free.html" rel="freelisting">

...you have <div id="free listing">

Check out your rel together with the divs that you have ;)

Hi Rangana-

I fixed two pages with the error corrections you pointed out. The pages I changed were; Home Page and About Page.

The home page is still showing the tabs but the About Page is not.

I will fix the many other pages as well. But I still don't understand why the About page still isn't showing the tabs after the changes were made.

You haven't had dolphin.js (http://www.picodirectory.com/about/dolphin.js) yet ;)

Thanks, I just fixed the 404 page. In doing so I changed the .css and .js files to read:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.picodirectory.com/style.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.picodirectory.com/dolphin.js">

Now the pages are showing the tabs.

Thanks for pointing out the coding errors I really appreciate your time and help.

Best regards,
