I know some of the functionality on my site doesn't work, but I'd appreciate any comments on layout, or display anomolies on the main page/search page:D

Thanks in advance!

Fixed font sizes - boooo :D :D:
And can someone explain to me this fad with putting .:dots:. all over the place   It may have looked original on the site that first did it, but now with everyone doing it, I find it to be a sign of imagination-challenged :p :p

Thanks everyone,

Vladdy, the dots are there because I was too lazy to make icons;) When I get the code worked out, I may have to go back and change dots into icon gifs.....and sorry for the page not found error, my ISP has gone from the best server in the world to the worst server in the world virtually overnight:(

Good luck with that, personally I do like it. Get it working... ;)

BTW, thanks for the compliment Ionsurge. I've been working hard on this, glad to hear someone likes it.

My current freelance job requires me to 'take over' PHP administration, so I'm learning as quick as I can. I figure xick.com is a good practice project, and hopefully in a few months I'll be a PHP whiz:D

You knwo the bleu logo at top left corner, why dont you make it link to the home page?

Basically very nice, but man, you waste a lot of browser real estate... there's almost more white then content!
Oh, and at least add a title element in the head; rest of the code looks pretty straight-forward.

Very good points everyone, I'll take all of that into consideration:) I just moved from California to Nevada, hopefully when I'm finished setting up shop, I can have more time to improve my site. My next project is figuring out how to only display 20 matches per page :D

Thanks again everyone!

I like it alot, good colours. Have you tried dropping a shadow on it?

well, its a nice layout and all, and not to put u down at all, but theres really not too great of a chance to make it in the search engine world.--especially when theres only like 15 sites in the search database. if you would maybe just add sites without the submission, you might have a shot of making a successful search engine. i mean come on, you dont even have www.google.com in your database.
