Im working on the skin (for wordpress) for my blog. I have had some feedback from a web designer, (Id link her, but she dosent normally do consulting, just development - she's a friend, and referred me here) but I wanted to open it to more people just to compare some of the feedback I'm getting from her. I'm running of apache on my own, so I don't have an actual URL you can go look at, but I'm going to give you what you would like to see. (PS: I know it works in IE7 + FF2, but if anyone can tell me from the code if it will/wont work in Safari / IE6,5 / Opera, etc, that would be a BIG help)

I MAINLY want help on the Viewing side, but wouldn't mind some feedback on the code side either.

CSS: 6127
Index Output: 6128

Use browsershots.org to find out if it works in other browsers.

I think that is is a very simple design. The brightness of the green doesn't stand out as well as it might need to on white IMO. It seems very simple, so there are some things to do to jazz it up:
Find a supplementary color to add
Try using either black or dark gray for text
Incorporate stronger typography (use some different font faces)
Stronger branding - the logo/title could be made to stand out from the rest of the page more

FYI: Reviews go in the reviews under General Web Development. That is why many people probably didn't answer this post. I might get in trouble :)

Yes.. I was confused about where to post it as I was looking for feedback on more then one thing. Thanks for the link, I'm going to use it right now.. And my design has changed quite a bit since the screenshot, and I forgot about this post untill I got an email about a reply. Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to work a bit more on it tonight.
