the wps page starts with <head>
i dont need to explain to you why thats wrong, because you did it right in the other page.
both sites are flash, so i dont have anything else to say

When I see "Loading..." line I hit "Back" button, and I know I'm not the only one with such reflex...
Information is primary, visual effects are secondary and acceptable ONLY if they enhance presentation of content, not become a barrier to it.

being on just a dialup® /me just a skipped® the intro...'cept when the next page loads??? the 'righthandside' boxes have just a extra® column of 'blue' in netscrap...
just a gain® /me skipped the intro...n' when the next page loads??? your two 'columns' would just a lineup betterer ifin' ya kept 'em in the same 'table' ...aka
<table><tr><td width="50%">info</td><td width="50%">info</td></tr>
<tr><td width="50%">info</td><td width="50%">info</td></tr>
<tr><td width="50%">info</td><td width="50%">info</td></tr></table>

vs how you have each 'row' in its own table...:O(((
the just a righthand® side 'list' isnt lining up in just a straight® vertical column...:O(((

I like the look of the sites..
For MY specific tastes, I use a smaller font size, but it depends on who looks at the sites.

Both sites have a flash intro, which I dislike, but it's a good idea if you don't see it all the time, like a cookie stored to tell the page to skip the intro, cause he's seen it before.

generally the site looks ok to me in IE6/win2000 but i got bored
waiting for the flash to load, and im using adsl so i feel sorry for all the 56k users. as morgoth said, the font size should probably be smaller.

it would be good to try running it through the w3 validator (http://validator.w3.org), if its working at the mo...

i agree- get rid of the flash intro.

also, on the second site, hitting the "home" link should NOT take you to the flash intro.

otherwise, it looks good. (i like the little optician guy)

This referes to the first site only

Enough said about the 660kb flash intro, case closed ok?

You have an enormous site, but on the first page, it looks like its a 5 page site and no info. Put the small nav menu at the top of the page, and a good key point menu at the side of the page.

Loose the text on the first page, make sentences much smaller and highlight key points by using a different color font.

On your contents page, the ebay-like listing orives your site is large, so make people know this when they are on the first page. Loose the "fun stuff" completely this is not your personal homepage, and I assume you're old enough to drive a car?

Very very nice animations, they really make the pages shine, but:

Overall, very lack-lustre site. Needs more color, needs to look more busy, and definately needs to look like its a site worthy of someones attention. Smaller text, more icon-sized buttons, highlighting and maybe a nicely designed top logo on every page instead of that 2 inch blue nothingness.

I hope this helps, Im not trying to be negative, and Ive offered what I hope are positive tips.

In a nutshell, its a big site hiding in a small cover. Let it breathe. Does this reflect your personality?

Is it flash overall, flash intro or just the size of the flash intro that people object to???

660kb flash intro = 3 minutes to download on a 56k dialup.

The "rules" of webdesign dictate that the user will give you 10 seconds to see a site, and then get bored.

Like the movies, if you're not hooked in the first 30 seconds, you "turn off"

3 minutes is way way way too long. Plus, its not that good.

For GREAT tips on using flash intros, goto

:) :D

This refers to:

The color scheme of the first link is kind of dull with just the blue and white, maybe you can add a bit more of that yellow. I dont think I have to say much more about the flash, but nice movie anyway. The menus took forever to popup, annoying the heck out of me, both in IE and Moz. Also the menu transition in IE went kind of slow, just think that should speed that up a bit.
