Hello easynet,
Lots of good tutorials out there. We had one forum member make one of the best ones I've ever seen and I was going to link you to it but... it's dead. Wouldn't you know!

Here's one that seems pretty decent: http://www.how-to-build-websites.com/

Just dive in and get something started, then post back here when you get stuck.

Check out the links in my sig below.

W3schools is good one for begineers.

Read some imp SEO article How To Use HTML Meta Tags (http://www.technicaltalk.net/index.php?topic=10.0)

I purchased a book off Amazon called CSS Mastery - Advanced Web Standards Solutions by Andy Budd. It is excellent.

There is also a book called HTML Mastery which is equally as good.

So Im using them to help me learn (along with the helpful people on this forum) and the web and also lots of trial and error and patience!

Yeah i'm an EMT at Central Islip Vol Amb. On long island and they asked me to make them a new site because if you see, www.cihva.org the old one isnt exactly HTML 4 if you know what I mean, But yeah, i Actually have like 3 more tutorials that i've written, that i havent typed out yet and put on my site, I have one more final tomorrow and after that I should have time to do it. I had no idea people were actually reading them or I wouldnt have taken it down.

Aside from the 4 validation errors, I gues it'll do :p
Made me chuckle as I read the bit about 'Not Losing Your Head' and then when the validation errors came up the first was 'End tag for element <head> which is not open', so you've lost your head somewhere (something to do with the fact you have no <title> I think!)

I hate that validator, yeah I just took the code and threw it into a file, your lucky I bothered to write the html and body tags! I could care less about errors. To me they mean nothing if the site is just something like that.
