In IE you use window.event to globally access the mouse event. How can I access the mouse event in firefox without using a event function?

That is... ususally u have something like
obj.onsome_event = function (e){
// e gives the mouse event in firefox
}

How can I access this "e" without using a onevent function?

create a global variable called event, add event handlers to all the events ur interested in. within the event handler assign the event object passed to the global variable
