I am trying to create a CSS theme for my own personal use, using WordPress, http://www.hoponbaby.com

I want a DIV below the main content and above the footer to use as a horizontal sidebar with three columns (for example, recent comments, flickr photos, last.fm).

The horizontal sidebar background colour (yellow) 'tertiary' doesn't seem to extend all the way down to the footer DIV.

The right-hand column in the 'tertiary' sidebar called 'tertiary-3' doesn't align with 'tertiary-1' T1 or 'tertiary-2' T2 DIVs, it appears lower.

Any help with rectifying these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I have attached three screen shots from my PC - Windows XP - IE7.
I cannot see any yellow backgrounds. Can you describe where to look.

I don't see any yellow at all at the bottom of your page. Is the entire div supposed to be yellow or just one column out of the three?

If you are trying to get one column out of the three to have a yellow background the best way to create the effect is to define a background image for the entire tertiary div and repeat-y. This is the faux column technique: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/fauxcolumns/

Whilst I was waiting for a reply I fiddled about with my CSS and was able to achieve what I wanted. Thank you for looking into it anyway, much appreciated!

Setting the height to auto seemed to do the trick!
