View Full Version : Layout is looks OK on Firefox but not IE

Aug 19th, 2007, 12:26 PM
Please, any gurus help me take a look why is this happening?

In Firefox, it looks OK.

But when in Internet Explorer, the top right hand side with "Home, About, Contact and Suggest a Game" is a little lower. If I add another link, it will overlap the SUBSCRIBE image.

How can I solve this problem? Thanks... Been trying but couldn't fix it.

<ul><li class="pagenav"><h2 style=\"margin-top: 0px\"></h2><ul><li class="page_item"><a href="http://www.freegameslah.com/home/" title="Home">Home</a></li>

<li class="page_item"><a href="http://www.freegameslah.com/about/" title="About">About</a></li>
<li class="page_item"><a href="http://www.freegameslah.com/contact/" title="Contact">Contact</a></li>
<li class="page_item"><a href="http://www.freegameslah.com/suggest-a-game/" title="Suggest a Game">Suggest a Game</a></li>
There seems to be a lot of markup errors like above.
No '\' required in style.

The w3-validator will help you to see the errors (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.freegameslah.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0)

I think he was trying to escape the quotation marks because it is PHP that generates the HTML.
