I am using the DHTML Image Gallery FroggyJS and want to put HTML formatting into the alt tag of the image used in the gallery.

Is there a quick or easy or even complicated way of doing this so that FF does not give me an XHTML error?

Not that I'm aware of without a Javascript workaround…although the alt attribute of an element shouldn't have markup in it—sort of defeats the purpose of having alternate content.

You can have sweet titles (http://www.dustindiaz.com/sweet-titles/), though.
