View Full Version : How can I add vertical borders between the columns to this site?

I'm working on my website at http://www.windylabs.com and I'm having trouble finding the correct place in the CSS files to add vertical borders between the columns. I think the best way to do it will be to put a left and right border on the middle column but I can't for the life of me find the correct place to add it among the 4 css files. Can anyone take a look at the css and tell me where to put it? Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for the response. I would be fine if it was css I had written. Unfortunately its a wordpress powered site with a template built by a wordpress template generator and the template uses 4 stylesheets with some strangely named attributes. The problem I'm having is identifying where among the four stylesheets i should add the borders. Can anyone help?

That one?

Just add
border-right: your attributes; to the CSS

I think

.yui-u first {
border-right: element;

Look for something like that.

Ok, the only way I can seem to get the borders I want is to apply the border-right and border-left attributes to the #third{} attribute of stylesheet.css . The problem is that when I do this It pulls the entire section out from between the other two columns and drops it down the page beneath them. Is there another way I can apply the borders and get the section to stay in position?

When adding the border you may have to change some margins or paddings.
