I don't think that JavaScript has been set to music yet ;)

I think I previously suggested a book called "JavaScript in Easy Steps" (3rd Edition) by Mike McGrath. It is not too dear - 12.99 or something as I recall. It is far and away the best beginnner's book I know of.

There's a good on-line tutorial at

http://javascript.about.com/od/learnjavascript/Learn_to_Program_with_Javascript.htm

BTW, your tutor is Stephen Chapman who often contributes to this forum under the pseudonym of felgall.

Another good set of tutorials is at

http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_intro.asp

And you can find "JavaScript for the Total Non-Programmer" at

http://www.webteacher.com/javascript/
