View Full Version : Need some css help with a dropdown menu

May 30th, 2007, 04:56 PM
I have been fighting with this menu for a while now. It works in Firefox and it was working in IE7 (not sure as I haven't checked in while) but it doesn't work in IE6.

I would post up all the code but I put it all on one page. All the relevant css and html is here: http://www.lgwebproduction.com/tmp/tabs.html

The dropdown is not working in IE6. The tabs should be floated left in a centered layout. If they are in IE6 just simply press refersh and you will see that they end up all the way left. But once you hover over a tab then they jump back to where they are supposed to be, BUT the dropdown still doesn't work.

I have been working on this the past few weeks on and off and its kicking my a**. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ie6 is bloody annoying when it comes to these type of menus. i had a similar problem and some javascript had to be added. i downloaded the trial menu maker software at opencube and rebuilt my menu and the support guys at opencube got it working in ie6 for me. i bought the software because they went out of their way to help. might be worth a look.
