I'm trying to center an image on a page, and have it aligned with the bottom. I have it working for FF, but IE doesn't seem to like it.

The CSS is here:

I use the two div IDs to get it there.

Any ideas on why IE doesn't play nicely?

edit:
I know about IE and png, so don't worry about that one.

Hello Drakain Zeil,
Try a different approach:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<LINK href="a_files/main.css" type=text/css rel=stylesheet>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<DIV id=one></DIV>
</BODY>
</HTML>

html {
height: 100%;
width: 100%;
}
BODY {
BACKGROUND: #000000 url(main.png) repeat-y center;
TEXT-ALIGN: center;
height: 100%;
width: 100%;
}
#one {
height: 100%;
background: url(menu.png) no-repeat center bottom;
}

Thanks, it seems to work with IE. However it also seems to add scroll bars in FF, which I think I can fix with a bit of div changing.

yeah, if you change the divs a little bit it should work
