Hey everyone.

I am in a bit of pickle. I am designing a site http://evolutionofgolf.com/index_right_pga_rss.html
This uses javascript menus on the right - which is actual a separate html file being display with ajax for easy updating. Same for the right column.

But i want to add a login, register and logout function to my site. To keep some users from parts of the site.

Also are there and free scripts out there that are easy to implement for these functions?

Whats the easiest way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Matt

You just need to rename the file to have a .php extension instead of a .html one. When php gets to the user its already parsed as html. As far as those scripts go. Check out www.hotscripts.com for some premade ones.

Alright, well if I do that it will display just as I created it in html? Also if I want to limit members from seeing parts of the site, that will mean all pages have to be in php?

Thanks

Well yeah because usually php login scripts use sessions to determine if a user is logged in or not. The sessions are done in php.
