I have a dropdown menu in the following website:
http://nervegas87.tripod.com
There is a thread on it also, w/ the CSS.
It's http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=112159

Anyways I have a small yet important problem w/ browsers. In FF it's completely fine. In IE the colors seem to darken a bit but the true problem is that when you use the rollover buttons, there seems to be an imbalance between the top and bottom colors. I checked my CSS to be sure that it wasn't an overflow problem but nevertheless it's still there. Could anyone help?

Not only does IE6 not support alpha channel transparency. It also renders PNG's in a slightly different color gamut. The simple solution for you may be to use GIF images instead.

Also use web safe colors (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_colors).
