Hello, I've got my website coded in html and css, which I've just got the hang of but I want to convert my news page so I can post news. Is there a not too complicated code to do this and what language would it be in?

Thanks,
John.

php, would be one method of posting news. Or you could learn some rss feeds and use that? It depends where you want the news posted in from? A database? Another site?

A database, like I log in as admin and theres a little button that takes me to one of those wisywig text editors, so I can post new news.

Thanks,
John.

Yea I have done, but there all premade scripts I just want to turn the content section of my homepage into what I mensioned above. But haven't a clue how to go about it.

John.

Edit: Hmmm, would I be able to tell a premade script where to post the news? Because I had an idea of making a page named so that only I know it and theres no link, I then go to it by typing the url, typing a password then posting he news. Would that work?

Why donít you just use a simple CMS then (I can recommend CMSmadesimple (http://cmsmadesimple.org) :D - with News module) or a blog software like Wordpress (http://wordpress.org)?

Both are free, simple to install and to use, and you can style your pages with CSS.
And posting news is what blogs are actually made for.
