View Full Version : links "hopping" when moused over in IE6

For some reason, when I hover over the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th link the entire set of links hops up and butts against the bottom of my image. If I hover over the 1st the links go back to their original position. I don't know why this is

Here's my CSS:

.rooms { float: left; width: 240px; height: 200px; margin: 0 15px 10px 0; text-align: center; }
.rooms img { width: 240px; height: 160px; display: block; }
.rooms a { padding: 2px 10px; }
.rooms a:hover { background-color: #e4d695; }

Here's my HTML:

<div class="rooms"><img id="queen" src="images/rooms/queen1.jpg" alt="Queen room">
<a href="images/rooms/queen1.jpg" onclick="return showPhoto(this,'queen')">1</a>
<a href="images/rooms/queen2.jpg" onclick="return showPhoto(this,'queen')">2</a>
<a href="images/rooms/queen3.jpg" onclick="return showPhoto(this,'queen')">3</a>
<a href="images/rooms/queen4.jpg" onclick="return showPhoto(this,'queen')">4</a>

It's likely some IE bug of sorts, but it would really help if you could supply a link to the page online: snippets of markup and styles taken out of context rarely suffice in helping solve such and many other problems.
