For an object in a JSP page, such as this one:

<div calss="menu">....</div>

Where the CSS is:

div.menu {
padding-left: 0px;
width: 100%; /*100px;*/
height: 510px;
overflow: auto
}

At the run this generates one horizontal and one vertical scroll bars.

My question is: How can I only generate the vertical scroll bar, but NO horizontal scroll bar?

Thanks

This is a CSS question, not javascript, so you may have more luck over there, but as far as I know, overflow auto will generate scroll bars where needed.
So, don't need them there. :)
I have had issues with padding or word length too long cause this.

If you provide some text as an example, I might be able to help more. Or a link is even better if you have one.
