I have a DIV that I want to give a drop shadow effect to. Using JavaScript I have decided to display the DIV twice with the one beneath it but shifted a bit to make it look like a drop shadow. I can get it to work fine in FF (of course) but I am having trouble getting it to work in IE6. Instead of looking like it does in FF it just looks a little bit white and pasty. The code I am using is:

<div id="controlHELP" onclick="toggleHelp()" style="width:' + helpSize + 'px; height:' + helpSize + 'px; cursor:hand; background-color:white; border-style:solid; filter:alpha(opacity=35); -moz-opacity: 0.35; border-width:1px; border-color=gray; text-align:center"><font size="1">?</div>

You can see a work-in-progress version of my page at: http://holidaymaps.googlepages.com/test154.html

Many thanks.

Don't worry, it now works. Need to set the border color to black, not gray.
