Hi! At http://www.mattknows.com/asu.html, I have put in a video clip and an audio clip in order to fulfill some of the requirements for my class, which calls for just those things (among others). I cannot seem to get the audio controller to center in the paragraph. The css seems correct, and I even set align=center in the html itself to see if that would work. It doesn't. The video however does. Also, can anyone let me know if the way I have inserted the video and audio is correct? It seems fine and works, autoplay set to false, etc. Just wanted to know if anyone saw anything wrong.

Thanks much!

Might want to start by reading this. Embed is deprecated and should be used with an Object wrapping it.

Okay, I've looked at several samples of code and modified mine as it seems to indicate. However, it works fine in Firefox now (alignment still isn't quite working on the audio file) but in IE7, the areas for the video and audio both look like greyed out list boxes. I know IE can sometimes wreak havoc with things, but this is quite odd, for it to display this instead of the content. Any ideas? I'm still looking...

Okay, now I have the audio controller lining up like it should. But what is wrong with IE7 (don't know about IE6 yet) not displaying the media? I do have to tell it to allow blocked content, but when I do that, I get what look like greyed out list boxes with an option, when hovering over them, to "click to active to use this control". Never seen that before, and clicking does nothing.
