What do you mean? Where you put your web documents you want to parse in your web browser? if that's the case, then the "htdocs" in your default installation directory of XAMPP. It used to be c:\apachefriends\xampp but I've noticed in newer versions it's changed to C:\Program files\xampp (or apachefriends)- one of the two.

I use XAMPP at home because it's quick and easy to set up. I don't have time (and can't be arsed) to set Apache, PHP, mySQL, phpmyadmin etc up one by one.

I just downloaded XAMPP two months ago and it's perfect for PHP and MySQL development on your home computer.

Another way to find the folder: Start > All Programs > Apache Friends > XAMPP > XAMPP httpdoc folder

Once XAMPP is running the local URL is: http://localhost/yoursite/index.php

this is my file path for xampp

C:\Program Files\xampp\xampp\xampp\htdocs
ofcourse i made it that way (cant remember why)
C:\Program Files\xampp\xampp\xampp\htdocs\yoursite\
would be shown as http://localhost/yoursite/

Mine are in C:\Program Files\xampp

Xampp is amazing for web development. I've built my entire script on it (80+ hours), and it's been great. I love being able to just save the changes I've made, and they are ready to go without uploading. Wahoo for saving time! :)

The current version of XAMPP also has some very good demo php scripts like the PHP generated PDF document. Very usefull for an online store so that the customer can print out a very professional looking invoice.
