Hello!

I have been using this little snippet of HTML to auto-refresh a page of my choosing that does not normally auto-refresh:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="45">
<TITLE>Important Page</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET ROWS="100%" framespacing=0 border=0 frameborder="no">
<FRAME SRC="http://www.important_page.com">
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>

What I would like to do is add a small upper frame that includes either a dropdown, multiple buttons, or a textbox, that will set the refresh rate of the page being displayed below on the fly.

That is, I would like the user to be able to choose the refresh rate for the second frame.

As an added measure, I would even be interested to have a textbox in the top frame that sets the URL for the bottom frame being refreshed.

I prefer a javascript solution because I would like the page to work in both a server and non-server environment.

Any help is appreciated,
Charlie
