website looks different on different browsers

my question:
why a web page looks different with different web browsers.
sometimes the web page dose not work with a web browser.

Different browsers have different levels of support of some features; also, different browsers are sensitive to errors in markup and styles differently.
Lastly, browsers have bugs which sometimes interfere with correct rendering of otherwise flawless pages; some browsers have more bugs than others.
