I wouldn't use a premade template you bought/downloaded from a site. Tidy the code up, change the prehistoric table layout to a modern css layout. Have your CSS in an external file.

It's obvious to see the images you have made and the ones provided with the template. You should try to learn how to use an image editing software, such as photoshop or gimp. It looks like you use paint, and unless you're really good with paint, your images will look nasty.

You cannot claim you design yourself, as 3 sites I have looked at made by you, all use templates.

I have not yet completely got designing web pages yet. I know a lot of HTML, some CSS, and some Javascript.

Do you have any particular tutorial for designing templates that could get me started in a good direction?

The main language I can work with is PHP.

Well... PHP is all good and well but you first have to code the layout with HTML and CSS.... tutorials... hmmmm... try google?

But start off by making the layout and coding it in HTML and CSS then finish it off by customizing adding the content using PHP and such... :)

Hope this helps.
