Hello nibbler,
I think a php script would be best, need something similar to a guest book I'd imagine. I googled php comment box. (http://www.google.com/search?q=php+comment+box&rls=com.microsoft:*&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1)

(Still getting to grips with tables and links)
Since your just starting out, why not start out with the most current language and learn CSS. Lose the tables... check out the link in my sig below to see why.

In your opinion would you say PHP compaired to html is harder to learn, It sort of looks like C++..
On this site here http://www.tizag.com/phpT/install.php it looks more complicated, also it says someting about installing php what does it mean by that?

You have to install PHP if you want to work locally on your computer. If you want to do that then I'd suggest googling WAMP. When you buy some webhosting check that they provide PHP and MySQL. If they do then you shouldn't need to install PHP on your website.

Generally I would say PHP is harder to learn than HTML. The syntax is based on that of C++ and the like as you said.

I thought you type the PHP code in wordpad then save it as .php, upload it and... youre done.
Or do i need some program to type the code in which I need to download.
So is it possible to make a simple comment box in HTML.

Yes, you can use notepad, and save as .php, but u cannot view the page on your computer, without uploading it to a webhost

PHP is harder to learn than HTML, because not only do you have to learn PHP, you have to learn HTML aswell to output any data..
