View Full Version : Menu w/ Set Height for Sub-menu Containers...

I have been using various software packages to attempt to create a menu for use on a website.

I am not very proficient in JavaScript and am not sure what route to go, but here is what I'm looking to do.

I would like a menu that contains an image as a background for the main container. The menu will have four transparent hover items as the main four buttons, they will be linked to the main pages for those items.

On hover a submenu will fly out to the right (Oh this is a vertical menu). I would like the submenu to be the same height as the original menu, with a background color instead of an image. Then, the submenu items should be vertically centered together in the new submenu.

I know it is possible..I've seen it on a few sites. The one that is most like what I want to do is...

Fellowship Church (http://www.fellowshipchurch.com/index.php?setcampus=grapevine)

However I would prefer the left main menu to be an image with transparent hover effects. If you have any other questions please let me know.

I'm not looking for a handout, but rather some help in figuring out how to do this. If you have some references or ideas, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!
