Hi,

I have been searching and searching for help with this but to no avail ~ :(

I'm using Wordpress for the first time, but my problem is the css I'm guessing ... the bottom red strip, I can't figure out how to make it fall underneath the post ... it should be down lower. I hope that makes sense! You can see what I mean here: http://filthygorgeousthings.com/index.php

The bottom red strip and 'curly cue' are two different images by the way ... red is staright across.

Any help would be greatly appreciated `

Thanks

Looks as if you've figured it out. I saw the problem, then I refreshed the page and it was fixed! I'm brilliant! (Just kidding.)

Hello doodlebug,
That's a pretty nice looking website as far as layout goes.
The coding though... absolute positioning, all those divs and all those images.

I simpled things up for you a bit, hope you don't mind. Have a look at http://www.nopeople.com/doodlebug/

-It validates and seems to look the same in all the browsers I have here.
-I sliced up your image and made a menu out of it for you.
= =I goofed when I made the images for your menu and ended up with all of them at 304px high. When I started building the page the legs image was 1px too tall... rather than rebuild all the menu images I resized the legs instead.
-got rid of the topstripe bottomstripe images
-I am using <dl><dt><dd> for the entries. I think you will need to make a seperate div with a margin-right: 385px or so for entries and maybe have it scroll: auto;? Not a clue what's going to go in there, how big it will be or what you want it to do.

I updated that menu so the buttons wouldn't blink out the first time you hovered over them.
For an explanation of how to do the menu buttons have a look at my example page. (http://www.nopeople.com/CSS/CSS_rollover/)
