i am trying to replicate this page:

http://zg-aa.kobasicstudios.com/index.php

here

http://digitalpatriots.org/zg

i cant figure out the footer image. On the original page it is actually quite high up and part of the main content - the teamspeak block has part of the footers background as its background.

Any ideas on how to copy this?

They overlapped some background images. Not that difficult a concept. Nest more for more extravagant effects.

<div> <!-- this has the lower background image -->
<div></div> <!-- this has the upper background image -->
</div>

The image in the foreground is here (http://zg-aa.kobasicstudios.com/images/rockets_footer.gif). It could easily be positioned at the bottom using the CSS background-position: bottom declaration.

so i would have to change the html code?

i was hoping there would be a solution with just css.

this css is only for this one clan.
if i have to change the html, then that would affect every other clans page, who might not want that affect.

Ill play with it and see how it affects the page when using a different css style.

current css, i think this already sets pos to bottom.

#footer { width:900px; margin:0px auto; padding:0px; text-align:center; clear:both; background: url(../../../images/zgfooter.png) bottom left; height:207px; vertical-align:bottom;}

is it possible just to get the text to the bottom? vertical-align:bottom; doesnt seem to have any effect.

[edit]
cant seem to figure out where to nest it:

<div style="clear: both"></div>
</div>

<!-- finish clanhome -->
<!-- start of footer -->
<div style="clear: both"></div>

</div>
<div style="clear: both"></div>
<div id="footer">
<span class="gensmall">
<a href="clan_admin.php?sid=7670a935c2f2b5eaa9e60b22b164cbf3&amp;clan=zg">Admin</a>
<br /><a href="admin/index.php?sid=7670a935c2f2b5eaa9e60b22b164cbf3">Go to Administration Panel</a><br />
