View Full Version : Rate My Site

I just finished the layout of my new site. I tried to make it look and act like an OS. Dragable windows, clickable icons, right-click menu, etc...
Please tell me what you thing of it, and if I should add anything or remove anything.
Also, my site is best viewed using IE 5+ or NS 6. Preferably IE, since it was designed using IE.
Here's the URL:

Intresting design. The one thing I would change is to get rid of the 'Enter?' page. It is kinda annoying; if someone puts in your address, of course they want to enter your site. imho.

I'm keeping it so that I have a place for people to do the Kiribon thing. I see it on all of the other Anime/furry sites I visit, so I thought I'd do it also.

 That was a really quick response! OMG to the MAX! this post has only been up for, what, maybe 5min!

Gojita, before you posted this site review request in the form of a poll you should have read the "Please Read..." Announcement (http://codingforums.com/announcement.php?s=&forumid=10) regarding the usage of polls. Essentially, a simple 'rate my site' thread would suffice. The poll feature should not be used for site critiques. Just letting you know for future reference. I've edited this thread to removed the "Poll" aspect. Please continue the review in it's current thread form ;).

Whew! After I had posted this thread I saw that other thread regarding poll usage. Thank you for taking it down, I really should have read the rules first...
Really !

I*'m missing the first 1 1/2 letters of your links in the menu. I'd darken the links too. Actually, I'd change all the light blue text to something darker, I can't see it.

I agree to take out the "enter page", I just don't see the need unless you really need to introduce something.

Overall the site looks great, the only comments that I do have is that the main text is a little small on a 1024 screen and the links on the left hand side blend in with the background a little too much on my screen. Other than those minor problems the site looks great though...
