View Full Version : How can I make a table completely static and unable to change size when displayed?

I have a script which generates the text inside the table, but the text is large and increases the size of the table, when I want it to just go to the next line down. How can I stop it from changing size (any script language would help, especially javascript, PHP, basic HTML).This is the script:

<table width="594" height="471" border="0">
<th width="588" height="415" align="left" valign="top" bgcolor="#666666" class="style2" scope="col"><? include "http://localhost/content1_knn.... ?>
<p><span class="style3"><? include "http://localhost/content6_knn.... ?></span></p></th>
<td height="62"> </td>

There's no absolute way to dictate table dimensions; this is the nature of a HTML table, it will always attempt to accomodate the data within.
However, if the text in question contains spaces it should wrap in those, unless there are long passages without any spaces.

It would help to see the actual resulting page, instead of an include.
