ok working on a few lil exe that run via dos.. err wondering.. how do i make it so when you click the exe icon it automatically loads in full screen not just small window, and also how do i change the icon of the exe file?

Right click on the ICON and select PROPERTIES. Click on the SCREEN TAB tom change it from WINDOW TO FULL SCREEN, then click on the PROGRAM, and CLICK ON THE CHANGE ICON Command.

hmmno youve mis understood me...i want these things set in theprogram/code its self so they user doesnt have to, i know how to change an icon and click full screen...tho not the user this is for does.. so im trying to put it into the code.
you got any more info? links etc?

As far as I know you can't do that in a DOS C++ program... Only thing you could do is probably change the screen resolution and thereby switching to fullscreen.

But if I were you I'd simply make a link with the mentioned properties and have an installer copy the files to the appropriate locations.

Sorry I was not able to response sooner, just got busy here, but I agree with Wichetael. You cannot do that in DOS apps, since the application itself is not even aware of the Window environment. The only way to do that is throught PIF
