Im trying to move the 1st column as seen www.ryanspahn.net to the center, not center of page just center it rather then having it hugging the left side of the screen.

Also, why does my site look good in Firefox, but everything moves around in IE?

Thanks in advance!

div.box{

line-height:17px;
/* Again, the ugly brilliant hack. */
voice-family: "\"}\"";
voice-family:inherit;
width:150px;
word-wrap: break-word;
}

div.header {
width: 680px;
height: 0px;
}

p.header {
font-size: 30px;
font-weight: bold;
font-family: verdana;
color: #CD853F;
}

use that as your css. works finr on IE6 and FF for me.

Can I assume your a tad new to the whole css thing? I ask because of the absolute positioning of the left column.

As for the hugging the left side, not sure what you mean. i dont see it and as you ahve ot set absolute with a left: 40px, it will be 40px off the left side no matter what in this case.

anywho, try that out and see if it works for you.
