<table style="width:85%" cellspacing="10"><tr><td style="width:75%;">

<table style="border:0px solid #ff00ff; width:100%;"><tr colspan="2"><th>
<hr width="725" style="visibility:hidden;">
<span style="float:left;"><img src="http://www.webmaster-talk.com/wt_sleek/images/WTLogo-3_GIF.gif"></span>

<span style="float:right; margin:10px;">
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
//2006-11-10: 2007 Test 1
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
</script>

</nobr>
</span>
</th></tr>

<tr colspan="2"><th style="background-color:#000; padding:1px 0px 3px 5px;" >

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--//
datetoday = new Date();
timenow=datetoday.getTime();
datetoday.setTime(timenow);
thehour = datetoday.getHours();
if (thehour > 17) display = "Good Evening.";
else
if (thehour >12) display = "Good Afternoon";
else
display = "Good Morning!";
var greeting = (display + " "); document.write(greeting);
//-->

</script>

</th><th>

<?
\$time = date('g:i a', strtotime('-5 hours'));
echo \$time;
?>

</th></tr></table>
</th></tr></table>

On the top section there's a black strip where, on the left I have the "Good-something" script. I want the Eastern Time clock to be on the right inside the black area. I'm sure the problem lies with colspan or rowspan in the tables, but I can't figure it out - the time is always outside of everything.
