I can't figure out why topnav has a height of 33. I didn't set it to 33 and it's causing the page to display all wrong. Please Help. Thanks.

Thank you to those who looked at my problem and tried to figure it out. I never dealt with CSS in the past because of all the cross-browser headaches. So I guess I learned a general lesson today. This is what fixed my problem:

I assigned an absolute position to all of my main divs (hd,main,secondary-main, ft) and then adjusted the top and left properties accordingly. all of the divs within remained at a relative position. I don't know why it worked, but it seems to be ok on IE 6 and 7. I haven't checked any of the other browsers yet, so if someone has Firefox, Opera, and Netscape and wouldn't care about checking for me the URL is http://www.starone-intranet.com/schmidt/design1.html

Thanks again!
