I need some help. Javascript for the most part is easy to learn. So is HTML. XML is a little more difficult, but I understand it. The problem I have though, is that I can't understand how to make forms. I want to build a few small specialized calcs.

Here is what I need to know:

Creating All Types of Form Elements
Converting a Text Form Element into A number (They are considered text at first right?)
How to access other form data
How to create a drop-down list that shows the functions the calculator can do
Make a text-area box that can't be written in, but shows the answers
Making a Text Form Element number Only

Thanks in advanced.
