    Question Html or xml

    hey guys i just want to know that which is better for our website sitemap?

    is it HTML OR XML ?

    Both as they each are intended for a different audience.

    The HTML sitemap is for the live people visiting your site who wish to see a list of all the pages to see if one covers what they are looking for.

    The XML sitemap is there to provide the search engines with a list of all the pages you want them to index even though the pages may not be linked to others in a way that would normally allow the search engines to find them.

    I don't know much about the sitemap, but yes regarding a website HTML and XML, both are essential for a website as HTML is a basic scripting tool providing a shape to the web page and XML helps to store all the data of the web page. One more thing is that any changes in the XML will also make a change in the web page may be damaging the codes.
