upload Word DOC and serverside converts to PDF and saves the file to server

I wish to have a method where my visitors can upload word documents and the server converts these files to PDF.

exactly how do i do this.

i have googled for many mnths now and only find info about how to create a new PDF serverside but not when a file is uploaded

is there or will there be a function like DOCtoPDF()

or can anyo9ne suggest how i do this with many functions.

i dont want just the text either, i wish for the PDF to be exactly how the word document is. as i keep finding converters that just get the text only from word documents.

    :Linux server:

    name your costs if any?

Do you have a budget in mind (keep in mind this would be custom work), and what language and version does your server support (PHP, Perl, etc)?

To be totally honest with you this is hard to do without coldfusion. Coldfusion has a built in command that does this for you. I could do it for 10 - 20 $ if thats the case.
