    Create contact forum page.

    1) Project Details: (be as specific as possible): I am trying to create a contact forum on my website. Basically all I am trying to do is have 2 textbox's values send to my email when a button is pressed or send to a send to a place where I can read the textbox's values. I am inexperienced with this and don't know how to do it. If anybody has an information on how to complete this please share. Thanks.

    In php it is easy to use a form to collect the message then on submit call a contact.php script to email it to you

    Code:
    <form action="contact.php" method="post">
     <table>
     <tr><td>Email:</td><td><input type="text" email="Email" /></td></tr>
     <tr><td>Message:</td><td><input type="text" message="Message" /></td></tr>
     <tr><td colspan="2" align="center"><input type="submit" /></td></tr>
     </table>
     </form>
    and contact.php is
    Code:
    <?php
     $email = $_REQUEST['email'] ;
     $message = $_REQUEST['message'] ;
     $headers = "From: $email";
     $sent = mail("you@gmail.com","Msg from site", $message, $headers) ;
     if($sent)
     {print "Your mail was sent successfully"; }
     else
     {print "Error sending mail"; }
     ?>
