Images are missing off your server. The design doesn't really have much of a structure tho.

    quickly

far too much heading for me, overpowers the page

some of the colours are very unclear and hard to read when used for text over the background

the update says the site is finished, I assume it isn't as you say as there's broken links and no pictures

really not sure what the site is about

as I say a quick look

You also have some HTML errors: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...//seaknot.com/

It seems you aren't using a stylesheet... Lose most of those HTML attributes for color, alignment, etc. and use CSS. That should eliminate some of your validation errors as well.

I would remove the xml declaration since you're serving it as text/html. Also, since it's built with table and font tags, which are not what you should be using, I'd make it html, not xhtml.

Visually, without images or styled typography, the site doesn't do much for me. But then again I know nothing about the site, who its users and visitors will be, or what it's purpose is.

Frankly, there seems to be a lot the site needs, from the mark-up outward. I could write quite a bit, but it'd be better to do a little research first and attempt a new build, then come here often with specific questions. By doing it this way, you'll have 1) a lot more knowledge and 2) a lot better site. It's fairer to you.

I'm really sorry. I don't mean to be lazy or hurtful in anyway, it's just that you have a ways to go -- too much for me to know where to really start. I will say this, to help you in the right direction, Google the following topics:

    1) Using CSS or Cascading Style Sheets
    2) Building a website without tables

This might seem vague (and I could come up with specific links I like), but it's not so. You will find so much information you'll suffocate. However, explore some of the search result sites and find one or two that present their information is a way best suited to you and your needs for learning and understanding. Then go at it.

When you have done that create two boxes on a web page using DIVs. Style them with CSS. Add text. Move stuff around. Try "positioning" and "floats" and other such CSS things. Play and have fun.

You'll have a headache from it all, but you'll thank me in the morning so to speak.

    Mike

    Oh, marquees... yuk.
