Intranet site - self service splash page

Working on another design for an intranet site and I was wondering if you kind folks would check it out for me and let me know what you think. I've put a copy online here....

Let me know what you think - coding, layout, graphics, anything.

    Thanks

    bcarl314, I looked at your page in Firefox0.8 (running Win2K) 800x600 and 1024x768 resolutions.

I trust it is not your intention that the large header "Ask here!" is superimposed overtop of the "Status Check" and "AIC Builder" boxes. Also, "How do I use this site?" is superimposed over "enter knowledge base" link. This is what happens at 800x600.

The area below the contact section on the right side bar is decidedly empty. Maybe your spiral staircase could go there to make more room for your "[...] Need Help? [...]" header.

You already have "Accounting Center Support" at the top of the page. I wonder if things would still be just as clear if #content div were to read:

    Online Self Service

    Need Help?

    Ask here!
    Hope that all made sense.
