I assume you want us to tell you what we think?

Well it validates, thats a good thing . However:

In Mozilla 1.6, the main content block appears below the navigation.
Green and orange were never meant to mix, apply this rule to your site (Id reccomend doing so anyway)

The search button doesnt look very well aligned.

If you hadnt guessed, i dont really like it that much, but i know you dont mind critical evaluation (Ive seen you giving your views before ). But your one step there... It validates. I think you need to maybe change the colours so they all blend in a little more, the header contrasts with the rest of the page as do the green and orange links.

Of course, if you were just telling us it existed, you have got more than you bargained for

The main content goes below in some sizes of window in safari, and it just did after I went to the RSS 2 feed , and I'll change the green, when I can get on the internet again on my computer, as for the search button, I'm having problems with that, as for validating, all my websites validate

Are you serious? Looks like something a 5yr old came up with... it shows no artistic design. The code is ok, altho it would seem that the main box is under the menu bar in IE 6. Felt i should be slightly constructive in some way so... simply... that many bright colours dont work together (and get rid of the blue links.. they look microsoft like!)

    Summary:
It mings! Its sooo ugly on soo many many level

Apparently, I have fixed the problem in IE6 (not seen it myself, don't have a Windows on the internet), and much of the code is done by PHP script for Wordpress, over which I have no control, however, what I have coded is good, and just to say, a 12 year old came up with it, that 12 year old was me

I have now changed the colours of the links.

"Sorry to put it like this but, well, YUK!"

I would recommend toning down the colours a little. Okay, alot. Bright blue, bright orange, bright green, white, and black is a little too high contrast for my likings. Maybe air it out with something lighter, I find that text can be quite hard to read on a black background. Although it's entirely all about personal preferance when it comes to reviewing sites, this is not mine...

Back to my original point, The colour scheme needs changing. Take a look at some other blogs to get a taste of what good blog design is.

And don't forget to smile... when you do countless re-designs, it's all worth it

OK, It's toned down, and I don't like reading on a black background, that's why all the text is on a gray background.

Well, it doesn't look fixed in IE to me... looks very much mangled. And yes, you may only be 12.... but I said 5.. thats 7 difference... 7 years that should make ALL the difference. Back to the website.... I have to admit colour schemes are hard to get right. I'm still not liking that banner across the top. Make it an image

PS - If u need help making an arty image tip: google image search, photoshop and some filters usually do the trick.

Make sure u get the copyright owners permission first tho

OK, I've found out in some screen sizes in IE it looks bad, dunno why, but, what do you think for the colours once I've changed the banner...

yer, they are ok, nothing special, but then you dont need anything special. I personally would say less is more when it comes to personal sites. Try to keep the amount of colours to a min!

My mistake. That is a very dark gray though, not far off black at all. #1E1E1E is still too dark in my opinion... try going lighter. Again I'd recommend taking a look at some other blogs to see what people expect from it's design.

Well done on the coding, though. And yes, those colours are already an improvement. Keep at it.

I would suggest using images... Images make sites look tons better... TONS... Needs TONS of fixing.

The top part that says Geoffrey Sneddon, I would put a banner... Its kinda ugly how it is right now

I dont reallly like the black background much either....

The main content, and the menu box, could maybe use a light background as well...

Sry, but it needs a lot of fixing up to be a quality blog...

It needs a design. Blogs are meant to reflect your personality. EX: If your a gothic person (), use dark colours. But still use good design Blogs, IMO, arent just little websites, with no design, that just tell about our day (although they are basically that), but blogs are a website, that is nice to look at, that tell about your daily life.
    Like I said,
use images, and have the page reflect your personality.
From viewing your blog, I should immideatly be able to tell, whether your a punk , goth, prep, etc...
    At least that my opinion...

Does that mean that Greg Storey is a blimp pilot?

I take no responsibility for the above nonsense.
